What to bring:

If you have questions about whether something is helpful to bring, our office is happy to guide you.

Paperwork:

Every evaluation is tailored to the individual, but most appointments follow a similar structure. Our goal is to create a comfortable, focused environment where you can do your best work.

Clinical Interview

For children and adolescents, part of this conversation may take place with a parent or caregiver.

Standardized Testing

Testing involves a series of structured tasks designed to assess areas such as memory, attention, language, processing speed, and problem-solving. Some tasks may feel similar to schoolwork, while others involve puzzles, questions, or listening and responding.

Breaks are provided as needed, and testing is adjusted to ensure comfort and pacing.

Length of Appointment

Comprehensive evaluations often take several hours and may occur in one extended session or across multiple appointments, depending on the referral question and individual needs.
